Overview of Bridge
The Ponte de l'Umilta was built primarily using Mattoni e Pietra d'Istria. It crosses the Rio de la Salute bridging a gap which is 9.73 meters. The bridge is not a crooked bridge. On the northern side of the bridge is the sestiere of Dorsoduro and on the southern side is also Dorsoduro .There are 2 ramps. On the north side there are 17 steps, on the south side there are 16 steps. This results in a total of 33 steps. The height of a typical step is 13 meters, the thickness of a step is about 40 centimeters, and the width of a step is about 3.95 meters.The steps are paved with Trachite. The bridge is not handicapped accessible and it does not have an additional railing. The summit is 3.95 meters wide and 2.43 meters in length for a total area of about 9.60 meters. The summit is paved with Trachite. Also, this bridge has 1 arch. The bridge's Piena railing is made of Mattoni e Pietra d'Istria and is about 26.00 meters wide is about 1.03 meters tall. Finally, the bridge protrudes 0.2 meters to the North and 1.2 meters to the South.

History
The following is any history we have regarding the bridge's origins:
Health. The church and monastery of St. Maria Humility once belonged to the Teutonic Knights, but about half of the sixteenth century allowed themselves to the fathers of the Society of Jesus, who in 1589 ristaurarono them. Parties, however, the Jesuits from Venice in 1606, the aforesaid edifices remained empty and abandoned, until in 1615 they were entrusted to the Benedictine nuns of the convent of S. Servolo. They remained there until 1806 when they were concentrated with those of S. Lorenzo. In 1824 the church and the monastery of St. Maria Humility is landed along with a chapel nearby, dedicated to St. Philip Blacks, to expand the garden of the seminary. About the \Bridge of Humility\ writes the continuation of Berlan: \The passenger in the present day, despite himself, this bridge is stopped or longer follows the journey of the rafts, and the ride to the tip of the Customs to the field of Health. The bridge was closed by the wall when, about 1851, the Customs of S. George was transferred here. \
