The Ponte dell'Accademia , constructed in 1933, was built primarily using Legno e Metallo. It crosses the Canal Grande bridging a gap which is 49.94 meters. The bridge is not a crooked bridge. On the northern side of the bridge is the sestiere of San Marco and on the southern side is Dorsoduro .There are 3 ramps. The steps are paved with Legno. The bridge is not handicapped accessible and it does not have an additional railing. Also, this bridge has 1 arch. The bridge's Vuoto Geometrico railing is made of Legno .
