Length

Width

The Grand Canal, in addition to being the longest canal, is also the widest canal in the city; it's average width is 60 meters across. This is in comparison to the thinnest canal, the 3 meter wide Rio de San Boldo and the average canal width of 9 meters. Comparison of Canal Widths
