Overview of Bridge

The Ponte S. Marziale was built primarily using Mattoni e Pietra d'Istria. It crosses the Rio de la Misericordia bridging a gap which is 10.73 meters. The bridge is not a crooked bridge. History

The following is any history we have regarding the bridge's origins:

. It is said that the church of S. Martial, \vulgo S. Marcilian, \was erected in 1133 by the family Bocchi on a tract of land dried up from the eighth century by the family Dardanians, and soon formed parish. It was renovated in 1693 and consecrated in 1721.
