This may not be for all packages and apartments but for Ca Corte (Cannaregio) the packages I received were this is the process.
How do I Know I've Received Something?
A slip of paper will be put inside your mailbox which has your name, location, date and time on it. The location will be the post office in Venice you will find your package at, for Ca Corte it is the post office nearest the Rialto.
The date and time on your slip simply mean on that day and between those hours you may pick up your package, I'm sure if you were a day or two late your package will not be discarded.
Directions
- Make a right off of Corte Cortese onto Calle della Testa 0.1 km and head as if you were going to the VPC (Venice Project Center).
- Turn right at Calle Dietro le Scuole 77 m
- Turn right at Calle Larga Giacinto Gallina 38 m
- Slight left at Fondamenta del Piovan 30 m
- Turn right at Campo Santa Maria Nova 42 m
- Turn left at Calle Widmann 34 m
- Turn right at Campiello Crovato 12 m
- Turn left at Salizada San Chianciano 0.1 km
- Slight left at Campiello Flaminio Corner 17 m
- Campiello Flaminio Corner turns slightly left and becomes Salizada San Giovanni Grisostomo 0.1 km
- Continue onto Salizada del Fontego dei Tedeschi 64 m
- Turn right at Calle Fontego dei Tedeschi 43 m
- It's easy to miss, since you'll be expecting a huge sign and a large white building. So look carefully it should be right across from a candy store and right before a campo and the turn you see the Rialto at.
Once You Get There
When you arrive there, head up the stairs on your right to the second floor. It'll be the first door on your right. Inside it'll look a little sketch as its just a mail room with a desk in it, no window. Simply hand your paper you recieved in the mail and they'll find your package for you.
