Strada Nova

strada is italian for "road". Everywhere in Italy, with the exception of Venice, streets are denominated as strada or via. Strada Nuova is the only strada in Venice. Strada Nuova was built while Venice was under Austrian rule; it is a very wide and busy street, being lined with many shops.[1]
