CHECKLIST OF FINAL DELIVERABLES

(this is a short summary -- full details can be found here)


To facilitate your final tasks, use the following checklist and check off each item as it is delivered to the appropriate party.
When you have checked off every item, you are really truly DONE!!!

You will not receive a grade until all of these steps have been completed.


BY FRIDAY – DECEMBER 18, 2009

1. Preliminaries

2. Venice Project Center in Venice (Prof. Carrera or Alberto Gallo)

  • One or more Labeled Cardboard Boxes (provided) containing the following items:
  • Miscellaneous materials produced or acquired during Project (organized and shelved)
  • Books, instruments, software, etc. borrowed for project (cleaned, organized and shelved)

3. Project Sponsor(s)




BY FRIDAY – January 8, 2009

4. E-Project Submissions (Registrar’s Requirements)

  • Upload PDF to WPI e-project site (follow instructions therein)
  • Wait for advisor approval before proceeding
  • After the project is approval, the system will allow you to fill out the eCDR for each student




BY MONDAY JANUARY 11, 2009

6. VPC Electronic Submissions (uploads to Venice server)

  • Upload files into VPC server (see separate instructions)
  • Fill out your project’s bibliographical entry in Dspace (see separate instructions)
  • Upload additional project web pages to an appropriate server space as instructed

7. Prof. Gibson – in his mailbox at WPI

  • Printed report in color (including Appendices) – bound with simple black spiral - for VPC archive on campus.
  • Replacement printed report in color (including Appendices) – bound with simple black spiral - for Venice archive – in case changes occurred since leaving Venice
  • CD-ROM – professionally labeled – for VPC archive on campus (see CD instructions)
  • Replacement CD for Venice archive – in case changes occurred since leaving Venice
  • Completed eCDR form for grading (obtained at the end of the e-projects submissions process)
    • every member of every team needs to fill out one of these and SIGN IT.
    • put the eCDR in Prof. Gibson's mailbox even if your main advisor is Prof. Carrera.
  • Self-team evaluations (one per student - in a sealed envelope or at least stapled shut to preserve confidentiality)
