The Chiesa di S. Barnaba, or San Barnaba as it is locally known, was founded in the year 1105 and is a Catholic church.

History

This church was established in the 9th century, and then rebuilt in the 14th century. The current building dates back to the 18th century. The façade is a Greek temple front with thick columns, similar to the nearby San Gesuati. The church is probably most well known for being featured in the movie Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. While it is not an archive as the movie would have us believe, it now serves as a Da Vinci museum.
