The Chiesa di S. Giovanni Novo, or San Zaninovo as it is locally known, was founded in the year 968 and is a Catholic church.

History

San Giovanni Novo was founded in the 10th century and later rebuilt in the 12th century, when the suffix -novo was added to the name. The church was again demolished and rebuilt in the 18th century, modeled after the Church of San Redentore. The façade remains unfinished, only having been built a few feet off the ground.
