Introduction English
The former church and monastery of Santa Anna were founded in the thirteenth century, a time when you first settled Augustinian monks and subsequently, until the early nineteenth century, when the monastery became a Navy hospital, the Benedictine nuns; The present building is the work of eighteenth-century architect Francesco Contin.�In the monastery took vows daughters of Jacopo Robusti called Tintoretto, Alturia and Pierina.

L'ex chiesa e il monastero di Santa Anna furono fondati nel XIII secolo, epoca in cui vi s'insediarono dapprima i monaci agostiniani e successivamente, fino agli inizi dell'Ottocento, quando il convento divenne ospedale della Marina militare, le monache benedettine; l'edificio attuale � opera settecentesca dell'architetto Francesco Contin. Nel monastero presero i voti le figlie di Jacopo Robusti detto il Tintoretto, Alturia e Pierina.
