Introduction English
The contrasts are the axes used in boats to take together the two sides and on which usually sits there.�To its confluence with the Rio de la Sensa, the river is crossed by the bridge contrasts of red, the name given to two other Venetian bridges, one of which crosses the river Beggars and the other stream of Tentor.�In the background, beyond the Rio Sant'Alvise, glimpsed the homonymous monastery.

I trasti sono quelle assi usate nelle imbarcazioni per tener unite le due fiancate e sulle quali solitamente ci si siede. Alla sua confluenza nel rio de la Sensa, il rio dei trasti � scavalcato dal ponte Rosso, nome attribuito ad altri due ponti veneziani, dei quali uno attraversa rio dei Mendicanti e l'altro rio del Tentor. Sullo sfondo, oltre il rio di Sant'Alvise, s'intravvede l'omonimo monastero di clausura.
