Introduction English

In the seventeenth century, many chimney sweeps working in this area (the last sweeps stopped work on the roofs of Venice in the late sixties), along the river are the homes of Gregolin, family traded with the wheat.�Cross the river bridge of Pignate, named for a store of cookware that existed nearby.

Nel XVII secolo molti spazzacamini lavoravano in questa zona (gli ultimi spazzacamini smisero di lavorare sui tetti di Venezia alla fine degli anni Sessanta); lungo il rio si trovano le case dei Gregolin, famiglia che commerciava con il frumento. Attraversa il rio il ponte delle Pignate, cos� chiamato per un negozio di pentole che esisteva nelle vicinanze.
